For the first week of summer we decided to have no TV or electronics for a full seven days. We wanted the kids to remember all of the other wonderful things about life before we embarked on 2 months of couch potato wanna-be's. Everyone was doing really well except for Lese in the mornings. She was used to a little cartoon/ I-pad time. Wednesday morning Michelle went for an early morning hike with a friend. When chad got up with her she asked for cartoons. He let her know they weren't watching this week, then she looked up at him thoughtfully and said, "turn off when Mommy gets home?"
Boy does she know what's going on already!
