Pinewood Derby time again. For Landon, this means Car #4, and his last. Now that he's a Webelo Scout, he is this packs Elder Statesman. So, he was looking to go out with a bang. And a bang he did go out with! He went through the preliminary rounds and came out ranked 6th out of 10. He took it well, and was still excited. Then, double elimination tournament started. He won his first round heat, but lost his second round heat. So he went to double elimination. At that point, he began racing some cars he had already lost to twice. But he won. He kept progressing until it was just his car and another boys car. The other boys car had not lost at all. Landon was a great Scouter and congratulated the other boy on a great night. The cars raced, and unfortunately Landon's lost to the other boys car for the 3rd time that night. But he was a Champ and was just excited that he had won so many and finished 2nd overall! Very well done Landon!
