Last year (2013) we decided to start a tradition with some of our friends and water bomb the kids as they got off the bus with water balloons. Then they could get some balloons too, and start bombing us. It progressed into water guns, and hoses. Then we settled down for watermelon, ice cream, pretzels, ice pops, etc. It was a total surprise and the kids didn't know what hit them. This year, the kids we think had an inkling, and were a little bit hesitant getting off the bus. Course, we had it at our house last year, and this year we had it at a friends house, so our kids kind of knew something was up right away. But it was a blast. Everyone was soaked by the end, and had a ton of fun! Great way to start off summer!

Landon is kind of hard to see. The crazy guy loves to wear jeans, even when it's hot. So, while everyone else had dawned swim trunks or shorts or swimming suits, he was still in his jeans and BYU t-shirt he wore to school. But you can see him up in the covered platform. He is sniping with his water gun from the raised platform!
