What would life be like if Dinosaurs still were alive?

DON'T HAVE A CLUE!  But we did get the chance to hang out at Thanksgiving Point's Natural History Museum...home to Utah's Largest Collection of Dinosaur bones.  It had a discovery room where the kids got to play with inventions, and fun things to help them learn about the Natural World.  It was a fun day with Nana and Papa and the dinosaurs.

The day started off great...Landon ran away TOTALLY FREAKED!!!  Ok, no he didn't, he had a great pose though, looks kind of real.
You are getting sleepy Sydney...VERY SLEEPY
"HA, this thing is TOTALLY AWESOME."
Papa, helping Sydney read about this machine
 The power of Steam.
Round and Round it goes, where it stops...who cares...turning it as FAST AS POSSIBLE is WAY more fun!!!
Who do you think would win...Landon is ready to go 10 rounds with the Dinosaur...
The girls just think it's Cute
The wall behind us is a HUGE magnetic wall.  And the Dinosaur behind us was a big puzzle, and so you get all the pieces, figure out which dinosaur they go to (there were 2 or 3 dinosaurs) and then where they go, and stick them to the wall.
The museum had this really fun area where there was water coming out of tubes flowing into a REALLy big basin like thing.  It was filled with sand, plastic dinosaurs, and plastic plants.  So the kids could move the sand around creating damns and walls, and make the flow of water go where they wanted as well as pool and flood other areas...they spent FOREVER doing it and loved it...
they also got some aprons to put on...very sheek!
We almost got eaten by JAWS while we were there...escaped JUST BARELY!

The second longest stop at the museum was a huge sand pit area where there were brushes and things for the kids to dig for dinosaur bones and when they found them, to use the paint brushes carefully uncover them

The last stop was the penny stretcher.  Its a great souvenir for the kids, and they think that stretching a penny is pretty cool!

Thanks to Nana and Papa for a great day.  yes, Nana did come with us...as proved in this picture, she just was great enough to take most of the pictures, thus not being in them!  Thanks MOM!
