Fall brought a crazy time for me, first year head coach, 1st counselor in the RS Presidency (which I thought I was getting released from but got recalled to the new Presidency), Mom, wife, and Mom to be. They were all wonderful blessings in disguise.
It was a huge blessing that the week before double days I got over my first trimester sickness. The whole summer left me wondering how I would be able to handle everything coming up. Coaching was a huge blessing. The team I had was filled with wonderful girls who were examples to all with the way they lived their lives. It was a special year and I was blessed to be associated with that team.
It was also a blessing that when I was called to the new Presidency the President let us know her focus would be finding joy in the journey. That was something I needed a reminder of often as I raced through the busy days of fall.
It was a blessing that Sydney and Landon loved school so much and were doing so well. Keely enjoyed more one on one time and it was easier to shuffle one child around to all the craziness than three.
It was also a blessing being pregnant during this time. Especially when I would break into tears from all the stress in front of others! I just blamed it on the hormones:)
