After the Zoo, we went across the street to This is the Place Monument and Heritage Park.  Had the opportunity to see what life was like for the pioneers as they came into the valley, and then to also see what life was like back then as we went through the houses and town.  A great opportunity to have some great meaningful talks with the kids about the gospel, the church, and the humble beginnings in the Salt Lake Valley.

 The kids were assigned chores.  They had to do some laundry, by hand.  Sydney after she washed them, hanging them up on the clothes line.
