We have been a little bit slow to enjoy all of the wonderful hikes here around BV. One local attraction is a small hike to a waterfall called Panther Falls. Memorial Day was the perfect day to finally go and check it out.
Annalese is ready to go!
Keely was quite nervous about the forest even as we drove up. She is our cautious child. As she hiked holding Chad's hand she started to enjoy herself. On our way home she even said, "Mom the forest isn't scary anymore!"
Many of the college kids come here and go swimming. We aren't quite up for that much adventure yet!
We found some beautiful butterflies enjoying the shade.
It was a great hike and we plan to do one each week throughout the summer. We hope to be able to enjoy the beauty around us more often!
