Sydney really started enjoying soccer this year. Her first game she scored two goals. She was a big part of the team and really got after the ball in each of her games. She didn't score again however until the last game of the season. She said to me that morning,
"Mom, I just want to score again before the season is over."
"Well, "I said, "today is the day!"
It was about 35 degrees outside and all frosted over. She had on sweats, a hat, mittens, and a light jacket under her jersey. Annalese was sick so we watched from the car. She got right in there and put two more in the back of the net! It was a great ending to a very fun season.
Way to go Tigers!
