Sydney has been quite excited to turn 5! She knows you must be 5 in order to go to kindergarten. Unfortunately it took a little bit to understand she wouldn't start kindergarten for a couple of months. She had a wonderful day though!
First we kicked it off with a fabulous breakfast in bed.
Next we decided presents right away while everyone was home! Make up and a salon chair from Grandma Nett.
She headed off to preschool in one of Nana's fun dresses for preschool. After lunch Sydney and I usually have some "Mommy and Me time" We decided on a fun fashion show in my closet. Please do not look at the clothes strewn about! Sydney tried on all of the dresses that Nana and Papa sent, with dancing and flair!
Sydney also received some new baking kits for her easy BAke Oven that we just had to try out. Chad came and surprised Sydney at dance class and took her out for ice cream afterwards. Unfortunately with all of the fun happening we forgot the camera!
We had Octopus hot dogs for dinner. A delicacy Sydney learned from preschool. Look them up on the internet sometime there are plenty of tutorials. Who knew we were missing out on such a fad?! She had quite the day! She was all smiles! Just what we love to see.
