Sydney has always wants to wear a dress to parties. This year she got her wish! She was all decked out for her big day!
The cake changed themes the morning of the party so we improvised a little with the poly pocket on top just slightly disproportionate. Originally it was going to be a layered cake. Then Sydney insisted on a dress cake that morning. A girl who can't make up her mind is dangerous!! We did what we could! It was my first time trying out fondant and it was so much fun! I recommend the marshmallow fondant as it tastes a lot better. It was like playing with play dough!
We had fun at the party playing with real play dough. Next year I'll make a bunch of marshmallow fondant and let the girls decorate their own cakes!
We did sticker books a tradition I think we have done at every one of Sydney's parties.
Make a wish! We wish you a fun filled, fabulous, fancy, five year, Sydney! We love you!
