Landon has been working quite a while on his Derby car for his first Pinewood Derby race. Or should I say Landon and Chad have been working hard. Landon knew exactly what he wanted; the Classical Dragster from Mario Kart. Chad helped him with the layout and then showed him how to whittle.
After Chad got the shape down, Landon went to work sanding.
And painting.
The finished product looked great!
And did great as well!
Landon won the award for the Most Colorful Car. The judges just loved the paint job! Great job Landon! We look forward to many more years of fun Derby cars!

I know you and your Dad had a great time building it. I remember when your Dad and I worked on his Pine Wood Derby Cars. You are lucky to have such a great Dad and he is lucky to have such a great son.
