I remember the good old days when Halloween was simply one day. If it fell on a school day then you dressed up. Now days we have a week long event! Our fun started with trick or treating at Landon's school. They do this to avoid dressing up during school. I can definitely understand that this would be much easier for the teachers!
Keely's first Trick or Treating experience. She didn't really want to put on a costume, but once she realized what it was all about she was jazzed!
Landon and his second grade Teacher.
Sydney's Preschool Party
Grandma took Sydney and Landon to a corn maze while Keely and Mom were sleeping. It had already been a big week. Landon thought for some reason it was a race and took off. Luckily it was a day when we had it opened especially for ward members because he ran through the whole thing. My mom found him at the end quite a bit later. He wasn't scared at all! We sure had a talk about staying with an adult though!
Trick or Treating Down Town on Friday
Saturday Ward Party and trick or treating on the streets. We are lucky to live in a small town that is predominately Christian. The town decided there would be trick or treating door to door on Saturday instead of Sunday. They blamed it on having school the next day, but I'm grateful they did.
