For the past four days we have lived in a different world, one you can only access through the rabbit hole. We had three long evenings of rehearsals, but the girls were troopers. When your part only lasts a few minutes and the ballet is two hours long your training goes towards patience instead of endurance. Sydney and Keely were in the "Garden of the Living Flowers Scene." They were both butterflies that fluttered amid the flowers.

Sydney also played the role of a hedgehog in the Croquet Match Scene. These were the softest most adorable costumes ever!

She asked Miss Missy after the afternoon show why she didn't give her any flowers like Alice got! Ha! Missy had to explain that you have to work very hard to get a lead role and then some year maybe she would be giving her flowers. Keely was so happy her Daddy brought her flowers after the evening show! Chad asked Keely the next day did you like getting the flowers better or dancing. She replied, "I like the dancing, but the best part is getting the flowers!"
Sydney loved her flowers too!
