The first snow outing was more a "rescue mission" as Landon called it. It was predicted to be a good snow starting in late afternoon - Jan 17, 2013. So the kids got out of school early and the girls went to a friends house to play, up the hill 2 blocks and over 3 blocks. Well, start to snow it did, and the roads were completely covered before too long. Nobody wanted to drive in it because of the steep hill, so Annalese got all bundled up for her first snow outing, and Mom, Landon and Annalese got the baby backpack out and trudged through the snow (not uphill both ways however - ha ha ha) and went and got the girls.
