Knowing we might have a rough few nights my dad kindly booked us a room at the Sheraton next door to their apartment for a couple of nights. It was a beautiful room! It was nice because when we got into the hotel at about 1:30 am we let the kids play for a while and then we took showers and baths and started to settle down. We hit the pillows at about 3:00 and hoped for a good long rest. The kids and I got up for a little while around 6:00 am and then headed back to bed. We started stirring again around 9:30 and eventually made it over to my parents around 10:30 ish. Very successful first night!
First we headed out to get MRT passes at Orchard road. It was quite the wait and the girls didn't waist any moment to play! They hadn't seen Karli in months and were so excited!
Karli sandwhich!
After we headed back to the hotel for a nap at about 2:30. Right above us there was some work being done in the room. It sounded like a jack hammer! I thought there was no way we would be able to rest. 10 min. later we were all out. I have no idea how long it lasted but I woke back up at 5:30 and began to rouse the troops. We had Karli and Ashley come over for a swim, but promptly got dumped on with the rain. Then we headed up to the room for a pizza party. Great jet lag day!
