Sydney has been so excited to start preschool at St. John's this year. She has been doing what she calls "home preschool" for at least two years, maybe three. So she was rearing and ready to go. She loves her new Sydney backpack, thanks grandma! Here she is with her good friend from preschool last year. She was so glad to have a buddy she knew! Unfortunately we were sick the second day and Sydney missed sponge painting. They are making apple sauce tomorrow though and I'm sure Sydney will try to help the others learn how! We've done almost 40 jars so far this year.

We were so sorry to hear that she was sick. Glad she's better. Poor Evan's gonna miss the applesauce making, and I'm SO sad because we haven't made ours yet, either (just our pies)! I think he has strep, though--the dr's appt. today will confirm.
