The Fourth of July is one of my all time favorite Holidays. It seemed like we had a quite fourth since we were actually home and not traveling around. We kicked off the weekend camping out in our backyard.

Sydney, Landon, and I spent the night in the tent. Keely and Dad spent the night inside. When the sun went down Landon spotted the first fire fly and darted out of the tent, Sydney was right behind him. They caught fireflies until the stars came out and then we all went to sleep. It was a fun night! It's quite convenient to be able to head inside your own home to use the restroom in the middle of the night. Luckily Chad thought to go back and unlock the door after he was already in bed!

The next day we headed over to the Balloon Rally in Lexington. The kids had a blast on the big blow up toys. This is Landon on the supper slide. They also had two bounce houses and an obstacle course.

Watching the hot air balloons fill up. Keely was so excited as she watched the bear blow up!

Happy 4th! Guess which piece Chad got? (He doesn't like strawberries)

Here we are waiting for fireworks to start. The kids remember the last two years of being in Utah and going to the parade. They insisted that the fourth of July meant candy, so we obliged. We got there way too early though, so much more candy was consumed than anticipated!

Wish we could have spent the fourth with you guys! Looks like you had a great time. I can't believe how much Keely is looking like a little Sydney. Too cute!
