5 years ago Chad and I became parents. We headed to the Utah Valley hospital on February 14th, 2004 because I felt like my water might have broken. It hadn't but they said they could tell I was having contractions. Landon wasn't due until the 23rd. They kept me there to monitor my blood pressure and we spent our Valentine's Date in the hospital. After 2 hours they sent us home and told us we would probably be coming back in the morning. I started feeling contractions at 3:00 am. Woke Chad up about 6:00 and we headed to the hospital around 7:30. I labored through the day and Landon was born after a half hour of pushing at 4:52 in the afternoon. We were overjoyed to have him and still are.

Landon's 4th birthday. "Four year olds can climb trees!" Landon exclaimed on his birthday because it just happened to be the first day he climbed a tree. And no, we don't require him to wear a helmet when he climbs trees. He just happened to be wearing it because he got a bike for his birthday.

3 feet 10 inches which is 95 % and 42 lbs which is about 60% for his age group.

Man, I love that little boy! I love the helmet in the tree picture... and I love your comment about that even more! That would be hilarious if you made him wear a helmet for other random activities. Too funny!
Wow, I can't believe you have a 5-year old, Michelle! Seems like just yesterday we were partying at good ole Allred Apartments. :) Landon is a handsome little guy!
