3 Years ago Sydney was born. Since Landon had come a week early I was sure that baby number two would come early. I was wrong. Sydney's due date came and went. Luckily she wasn't born on her due date though because we all had the flu. I have never been that violently sick before. I thought for sure that it would send me into labor and I was scared I wouldn't have the energy for it. Sydney must have known and she helped me out by staying put until I recovered. The day after her due date I felt much better and started to have contractions. I thought I would be going to the hospital that night but when I rested the contractions went away. The next morning we had finished breakfast and I had finished the dishes. I looked at Chad and said, "Well now what am I supposed to do today!" Five seconds later the contractions started. We took Landon to the Lund's to play for the day and headed to the hospital. They had lost our pre-registration papers so they couldn't get the anesthesiologist there very quickly. I ended up getting the epideral a little late, and it wasn't very effective. She made it though and I was relieved. Sydney was born at 2:42pm in the afternoon. She weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz. and was 21 inches long. We were so happy to have her join our family! Sydney's 1st Birthday Sydney's 2! Sydney on her 3rd Birthday. We had a donut I-chat party with Grandma Nette, Grandpa Rob, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Chad, and Karli. Sydney's Top 3 Likes 1. Parties 2. Doing dances 3. Candy Sydney's 3 Best Qualities 1. Determined 2. We love that little girl! One of my favorite Sydney moments was when she was singing the song "I love you baby Karli!" I think she made up the lyrics and the melody, what a gal!
