Pets!

Landon has all of the sudden thought it very important to have a pet.  So for a while we had a caterpillar found in the kitchen from the apples we picked off the tree.  Then one day mom thought we had forgotten about it and I sent it on its way.  When Landon discovered it missing he was very distraught.  He said he had a great idea how about a kitten, and I told him now was not a good time.  Then ever the compromiser he said, "I know what about for Christmas."  Luckily I was able to say well for Christmas you are getting a new baby sister!  It helped during that conversation but we still talk about wanting a pet.  So for now the twin baby deer that practically live in our yard we call our Pets.
