We figured that the three hour drive up to DC would be the easiest part of our trip since we had done it plenty of times before. We were wrong. Sydney got sick on the way and threw up all over her car seat. We made it to Cameron and Lindsay's to get cleaned up and realize we forgot the stroller, knowing that everything in London is double the price we decided to hit Walmart quickly. Luckily Chad noticed in the parking lot that the car was overheating and ran in for some more coolant. Thankfully the car made it to the airport just in time to see that our flight was delayed. Hey at least that meant Sydney got sick on the seats in the waiting area instead of on the plane. Our connection was tight and we literally ran holding kids and strollers through the Newark airport just in time for me to yell the famous "Hold the Doors", because Landon had to make a potty stop on the way. We were so grateful to get on that eight hour flight!! The planes had personal screens and movies and games so Landon was in heaven. Needless to say that flight was the easiest part of our trip.

We made it to London and met my parents at the airport. Luckily because the lady at customs asked me where we were staying and besides the Marriott I couldn't tell her any more or how we were getting there. She just laughed and told us to go through, obviously I wasn't making up a story since I didn't even know what I was talking about. We took a few trains and a taxi to get to the hotel and had a rest. Later we went to an english pub for dinner. I was so relieved to eat and all I wanted was a hamburger, my dad just sat by and watched me eat. As I started to ask if something was funny with the bread or something in the burger my Dad just started laughing. English beef is not the same as American beef it is not good and my Dad wanted to see me find out for myself. After dinner we walked along the Thames and headed in for a wonderful nights rest.

Hey Michelle! It's Kelsey, I found your blog on Lisa Long's, I hope you don't mind that I read it! It's so good to see what you guys are up to! Lucky you going to London! I love it there.
Michelle! I'm glad you have a blog. We just started one not too long ago. It's such a great way to keep updated on people. It looks like you have been busy! It was so great to see you again when you were in Utah.
I love the picture of Dad with two books. Landon is such a good boy reading with Grandpa, and Sydney just wants to read her own book...I love those kids!
Wow, so are you guys still in London?! We're moving to Germany in a few months, so if you ever go back, come visit. :) I love that you started a blog-what a great way to keep in touch with your growing family!
