One day after our friends stayed with us we headed to California for Christmas. In the morning we let the kids open one present. They each received a small Bible from Great Grandma and Grandpa Otteson. They were so cute they each loved them!
We were so lucky that Grandpa Rob got us tickets from Roanoke, only an hour away from home. We would be in California in a short 8 hours of travel time! Much shorter than our last adventure to Singapore!
Annalese did great on her first plane trip! She loved riding on it!
We were on a small jet the first leg and there were 5 seats in the back. Perfect for the Mahaffey family and one lap child. Best of all was that no one was in front of Annalese, she couldn't kick the seat in front of us!
