Summer Fun - NY Trip Part 1

Our last big trip for the summer changed many times.  At first it was Canada to visit Nana and Papa, then Palmyra, then Niagra.  Then it changed to Niagra, then Canada, then Palmyra.  As it happened, it turned out to be Niagra, then Palmyra, and we didn't get a chance to go to visit Nana and Papa in Canada (we did drive across the boarder to see Niagra from the Canadian Side (way nicer, those canadians know how to make those attractions very nice, not to mention their side has the MUCH nicer view of the Falls.)  Anyway, we spent a couple days in Niagra, NY at the Falls and had a wonderful time.

We stayed late one night so that the kids could see the lights on the Falls.  Very pretty.

Dad and Lese riding the tram around the park.  It was fun to get to see the whole park, and not have to walk it ALL!!!
Dad, Landon and Sydney went on the Cave of the Mist walk.  Pretty awesome to stand underneath one of the waterfalls.  Unfortunately, Keely and Lese were too small to go, so mom had to stay with them back up top.
The whole family infront of Horseshoe Falls.  You can see the Canadian side across the way.
About to cross the boarder.
That small plaque on the bridge is the ACTUAL boarder, so at this exact moment, Mom and Dad in the front of the car are in Canada, and the kids in the back of the car are in the United States.  So does that make us delinquent parents since we left our children in an ENTIRELY different country all by themselves?  HA HA
We also did the boat ride...The Maid of the Mist and got some pretty spectacular rainbow pictures.
Our Family on the Maid of the Mist Boat tour...you just have to love the blue ponchos...such a fashion statement!!!
Now that is a beautiful picture.  Lese had to share Michelle's poncho because they didn't have any small enough for her.  She loved it though.
