Sydney's 4th Birthday week

It seems like we can never get all the celebrating in on one day, so birthdays extend throughout all of February or so it seems. Sydney's birthday fell on a Sunday this year so we had ice cream Sundays. The concept of going to church and not having a party on your birthday was a little difficult for Sydney, but the rest of the week looked brighter.
Keely has learned how to say "cheese"! Ok she doesn't say it but she does it, even when the picture isn't supposed to be of her!
Sydney and Daddy on a special birthday date! Chad said she had so much fun she didn't stop talking the whole time. He said the only silence was when she would stop to take a sip of her pink milkshake!
Sydney is growing up sooo fast. She loves to pretend like she is seventeen. She loves to play pretend. I'm always behind on who she is that day, or who I am for that matter. She loves to dress up, cook, and help me with Keely. Sydney loves outings and going shopping. Lets face it she is all girl. Although she is as competitive as it gets and loves to race and wrestle. She also loves to draw and write.
Sydney's braid crown for her birthday week.
Ice cream cone cupcakes for the party. So I couldn't decide I wanted to do this and Sydney wanted a music cake. Since I'm so good at keeping things simple, I did both.
We had a fashion show for the party.
And a pinata.
Make a wish! (NO more February birthdays!) Oops you're not supposed to say your wish out loud or it won't come true.

When you showed the cake cones and told how Sydney wanted a music cake, I was thinking, "Perfect! Those make great microphones!" But your music cake is impressive. You always make the coolest cakes!!!

And can I just say how excited Evan was for this party? The day before he asked us, "It is Sydney's birthday party eve?" LOL!

Syd - You looked GREAT on your birthday! I confess, I was sad not to see a picture of you & fancy nancy... have your mom take a picture of that too! How lucky you are to have such a talented mom to make great cakes, and such a loving dad to take you on a special date! WE LOVE YOU TOO!!!
