Cross Country Truck'n

Friday night we got the word that Chad could coach LAX camps at BYU. We headed out Tuesday morning, not very much time to plan a 5 week trip, that includes driving across the nation with three kids. After Keely's 6 mo. checkup we headed out to Indiana, our first stop on our long drive to Utah. The kids traveled incredibly well! In fact I wished that they would behave so well at home! Chad drove the whole way, I couldn't believe it. So all I did was sit in the back, play with Keely, make lunches, get snacks, and put in movies. It was actually a break. We had a great time at the Monroe's too, the kids had so much fun playing with their cousins, they couldn't wait to stop back by on the way home

Michelle, are you still in UT or are you already home? The Himes were just on their way out to UT and were able to stop by for a quick viist. So wonderful to see them. Would love to see you too, if you were ever happening to take the route that led you through our place. Miss you guys!

Wow! I didn't realize that this was such a quickly-planned trip--I thought you guys had gone on the trip you were originally planning on earlier in the summer. That sure isn't a lot of time to plan a 5-week trip! :) Glad you had a good time, though. It's good to have you back.
