Ice Skating

The week before Christmas we went ice skating in Lynchburg for a family outing. The kids absolutely loved it! We thought they might last twenty minutes or so, but they skated the whole hour and a half. We would take small breaks, but within two minutes they were wanting to get back out there. Sydney was trying to skate on her own from the get go, then decided it was a better idea to hold mom's hand. Landon was happy to hang on to Dad's hand but built up the courage after he made a friend that was skating on his own. By the end he was skating on his own and loving it!

I have so often wondered how my kids would do at ice skating, but I always end up thinking they're too young and it wouldn't work! But if Sydney can do it... Of course, neither Duane nor I are very good ice skaters, so I'm not sure we would be that great at helping them! :) What a totally fun family activity. (And brave you, being so close to delivering! I'm just a wimp!)

Did you do your "Lollipop" routine for your kids? I think you should have :)
